Anjin Secure Car Invited to Pitch at Hotel Jumpstart Accelerator

12/13/2017 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

London: Anjin Secure Car is pleased to announce that they have been selected as one of nine travel technology startups invited to pitch for a spot in the Hotel Jumpstart accelerator program in London.  Hotel Jumpstart is a collaboration between the Expedia Affiliate Network and Hotels.com to find disruptive technologies for the travel and hotel industry.

John Timar, Advisor to Anjin Secure Car, commented, “It is a real honor to showcase the vision to improve the safety, security, and overall traveler experience through secure ground transportation.  I feel strongly that Anjin Secure Car is plugging the most exposed gap for traveler Duty of Car.  The Hotel Jumpstart program will help refine the technology vision and get exposure to more travelers.”

More than 70% of Anjin Secure Car’s trips either originate or end at a hotel so the leadership is hoping that Hotel Jumpstart will help them develop a critical sales channel.  Justin Clark, Chief Operations Officer, added, “Travelers form their opinion on trip success with factors outside of how clean their room is and how the concierge responded to a question.  If getting to the hotel is stressful the traveler is going to associate that experience with the hotel. We have also found that hotels vary drastically in how helpful they are with ground transportation. Many hotels in riskier destinations have no way to assist the traveler with getting safely to and from the hotel.  Our customers have told us that this is a source of frustration.”

Finalists will be selected by an expert panel of esteemed travel leaders from Expedia Affiliate Network, Hotels.com, tnooz, and Traveltech Lab. The program will take place in London over a six month period and will involve mentoring from senior travel industry executives and technologies, conent rich APIs, and exposure to numerous experts.
